Rood Technology – a leading independent service and equipment provider for the electronics industry – announced today that the order income for test services and test program generating increased in recent weeks.

Rood Technology started new projects for electrical test and related activities – servicing a major IC manufacturer for automotive applications. After an intermission – caused by the overall market conditions in the semiconductor industry – Rood Technology re-started its test services for this customer in the second quarter. Additional agreements were reached for further increase of business for electrical test and related services (burn-in, scanning, straightening, taping) of various package types. The total volume will exceed several million ICs.

In addition Rood Technology received a couple of orders for generation of test programs – from IC manufacturers as well as fabless companies.
