  Rood Technology ships Equipment for Scanning-Straigthening-Taping to Global Top10 Player


Rood Technology – a leading independent equipment and service provider for the
electronics industry – announced today that currently installations and shipments of a
series of SprintLine 2000 systems to a global top 10 player of the semiconductor
industry are underway.

The SprintLine 2000 is a full-automatic system for high volume processing of scanning-
straightening-taping of IC’s – developed at the German location of Rood Technology.

The SprintLine 2000 was introduced 3 years ago to the market and was selected by
this global player as production platform for automotive products.

The new series of installations is and will be at various locations in 3 different continents.
The order value is over € 1 million. Interest in additional SprintLine 2000 systems as well
as other products has already been addressed by this customer.
