Programming Services

	Rood Technology has an independent programming facility, offering the most comprehensive programming service for integrated device manufacturers (IDMs), contract equipment manufacturers (CEMs), distributors and end users (OEMs). Programming is performed from small engineering batches to high volume. Necessary technical back-up and application support is offered by highly skilled engineers.
	Independent on which media the programming codes are supplied, they are either stored on the individual programmer or on a master server. All programming stations have immediate access. After programming each device will be verified. Results can be monitored for “statistical process control” purposes. In addition, blank devices can be held in separate consignment store and programmed on a “call off” basis. Drop ship from semiconductor manufacturer can also be accommodated.
	Programming services are offered on a wide range of products, including PROMs, EPROMs, PALs, GALs, FPGAs, CPLDs, EPLAs, Microcontrollers, Sequencers, FLASH Memories etc. These families exist in many different package styles and lead counts. Typical packages are BGA, TQFP, QFP, SSOP, TSOP, SO, SOJ, PLCC and DIL. Rood Technology performs programming on equipment supplied by BP Microsystems and Data I/O. This include single site or gang programmers up to 11 at a time and fully automatic systems incorporating labelling and laser marking. A “hot lot 24 hour service” is also provided to meet our customers demand.
